Review Breathless Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa

We stayed at the Breathless resort in Riviera Cancun, Mexico twice! We initially did a Cancun timeshare promotion through Book VIP and went to Secrets Silversands. While we did enjoy our stay there very much, we were looking for something with a more lively atmosphere.

The staff of Secrets advised us that Breathless, which was only a property away, and was more along the lines of what we were looking for.

Boy were they right!

1st the staff greets you by saying “Welcome to the party”, upon arrival. Then you are immediately struck by the upscale and vibrant look of the resort. Finally, just after you are done checking in, you get a view of one of the pools with open access to the guests.

Breathless Riviera Cancun Amenities

There are a number of amenities at all of the Breathless resorts and the Cancun location was no different. They offer 10 different dining options on the property and 24 hour a day room service. The property has 2 main pools and 1 private area known as the Xhale club.

The “party pool” which opens around noon has a DJ, foam parties and topless is allowed in that area. The main pool, topless is not allowed.

We also found the staff to be quite attentive and courteous. If you have any special food requests or allergies they will accommodate you without any problem. In fact, you often will have the same server in the mornings so you don’t have to explain your needs over and over.

This does not mean that you cannot find piece and quiet. On the contrary, the schedule is laid out on a tablet that is included in every room. This means that you can plan your day away from all of the activities. You also can take a relaxing stroll along the beach or just book an excursion and go off property.

Breathless Resorts Rooms

The rooms at Breathless are stunning. Each one is extremely trendy and modern in design and the rooms all come with a tablet so you can plan your day. Some rooms have a walk in shallow pool area. Obviously, you have to be on the first floor to have this option. All of the rooms have a beautiful view. Some of these rooms look out into the ocean, others overlook the pool areas and with some you see both.

The Cancun location has over 500 rooms available and the Xhale area is private.

Breathless Resorts Activities

Breathless Resort Cancun has a ton of activities on the property. They also have several tours and excursions you can do off property if you choose to.

We stayed on the property for over 2 weeks on our 2nd visit and even then we did not get to everything they had to offer.
